This is a video opinion essay about AI - Artificial Intelligence. Right now, we are seeing a massive marketing campaign from the largest technology companies in the world. There’s just one problem: AI isn’t that good. In this video, I describe how AI and Artificial Neural Networks actually work, and why they need much more human intelligence and power than we’re led to believe, and how that limits their performance. I highlight the way AI is actually being used compared to the way these tech companies like Microsoft, Apple, IBM, Google, and Meta want to pretend AI could be used.
